J 5 Pros:- Looks fantastic in white and is basically an off-brand clone of a Giant M3.- Single derailleur means you can ride one handed and carry an umbrella or bag in your left hand while still being able to change gears and use the front brake with your right, great for commuting.- Very lightweight and stiff frame.- Animoto is a Japanese company and you can call them on the phone if you have any problems.Cons:- Considerable cable stretch meant the brakes and especially the rear derailleur had to be adjusted constantly for the first few months.- Front wheel was considerably out of true which was difficult to fix as a novice and meant buying extra tools.- Aluminium frame means there is little shock absorption.- The rear cassette is very prone to rusting.- Could possibly benefit from an extra gear.Despite the cons this has been a great bike for the price and is excellent for running about town. I've done some longer 40-50 km rides and, once the bike is set up nicely, it rides extremely well. A massive quality of life improvement over a mamachari.Despite what the description might say, mine arrived with 700x28C tires with English valves.I would recommend the Youtube channel "Park Tools" for tutorials on how to put together a bike-in-a-box.
