Rooksie 5 There's not much bad to say about this toy. The designs are cute, the gameplay is simple enough that you can figure it out without the manual and there's plenty of the boba mascots and their drinks to collect! It has a bit of customization to it as well, given you can choose which boba characters will be on your homescreen and the colour tea base (my favourite being purple). However, the one weakness I feel this toy has, aside from the fairly short battery life, has to be its strongest feature: the straw. It's a fun gimmick, using the straw to interact with the game, but it's very awkward with how it sticks out. I can imagine a child breaking the device after getting the straw caught on something. Even if the straw itself isn't a hazard, I'm a bit worried that dust could fall into the opening surrounding the straw. While this might not damage the device, it's a minor annoyance.Aside from those small concerns though, the toy seems excellent and I definitely recommend it! Especially for those who don't understand Japanese, but are interested in this style of toy, as there's hardly anything to read.
